forgotten things

I find that I am rarely attracted to the beauty of perfection in nature but rather to the imperfection, asymmetry, and the intimacy of decay.
In this series, I am quoting images that come from the world of plants, among them abandoned pieces of branches with motives of parasites that grow on a body of another. I build these pieces from thin sheets of silver that are fused and soldered together. In this process of work, I try to bring up the experience of
building processes of organic particles in nature.
